Bill became area manager in April 2016 and finds helping families through the difficult time of losing a loved one is the most rewarding part of his work. He is a member of First Baptist Church, captain of the Gainesville Quarterback Club, and is active with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Rotary.

Steed joined the Roberts staff in October 2012, and feels the most fulfilling aspect of his 30-year funeral service career is helping people during a difficult time. The longtime Ocala resident is a member of Sons of the American Revolution, the Shriners, and the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. He’s a past master of Masonic Lodge and the York Rite Council.

Robert became manager of Bruce Chapel West in June 2014. During his 40+ year career, he has worked for a funeral home that also ran an ambulance service, and has served as a federal funeral director and corpsman while in the U.S. Navy.

Terry, an Ocala native, comes with a long family history in the funeral industry and is proud to say the heritage continues with his son, Dillon, who serves as a fourth-generation funeral director.

Joshua Leverette, Funeral Director

Josh joined our staff in June 2015 and feels honored to be able to help families through a very tough time. The Fore Ranch resident attends Meadowbrook Church, and is involved in the community by helping coordinate a major fundraiser for the Marion County Hospice each year. He's also an active FFA Alumni, and a huge supporter of his hometown's livestock show.

Bob Kirkpatrick, Part-Time Funeral Director

Bob began at Roberts in 2010. He has worked in funeral service for more than 45 years and enjoys being able to help families in their time of need. The Boston native also lived in West Palm Beach before moving to the Ocala area.

Patricia A. Mitchell, Secretary & Funeral Associate

Pat has helped in various roles since she began at Roberts in August 2002. The longtime Ocala resident has attended Church @ the Springs since 1997, and worked for 25 years in the banking industry. In her free time, she enjoys photography, sewing and puzzles, and is the proud pet parent of a loving Shih Tzu named Forest.

Delories Schmidt, Secretary & Funeral Associate

Delories started at Roberts in April 2004 with accounting experience. As a widow, she enjoys that her work allows her to help families. She is a member and user at Queen of Peace and serves on the Marion Co. Sheriff's Office Funeral Escort Unit. She lives in Ocala with her son, Robert, and his two kitties, Squeaks and Gidget. Her hobbies include quilting, computers, and bingo.

Michael Armendi, Funeral Associate

Michael has served as a funeral attendant at Bruce Chapel West since March 2007. The Ocala resident is a member and usher of Meadowbrook Church, and also serves in their prison ministry outreach program. He is a native of Boston, and previously worked for 23 years as a limo driver. He is married and enjoys playing golf in his free time.

Patricia Buono, Funeral Associate

Patricia began at Roberts in May 2007 with years of experience in nursing and administration. She enjoys that her work allows her to help to people during a difficult time. The New Jersey native has called Morriston home since 2000 and is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She also is a member of the Orange Blossom Miniature Horse Club, and enjoys raising, training and showing her four miniature horses in her free time.

Owen D. Henderson, Funeral Associate

Owen began assisting with services at Roberts in 2004. He feels honored to help people deal with loss and grief. The Ocala resident is active in his community through volunteer work at hospice and teaching special needs students. He and his wife, who is a director for the United Way, have eight children and enjoy traveling.

Martin R. Pieczynski, Funeral Associate

Marty joined the Roberts staff in December 2003. He is an active Top of the World resident and is a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Lions Club. The New York native was born in Buffalo and formerly owned a supermarket for 42 years. He is married to Arlene and has two sons, David and Donald. He enjoys helping people and gardening.

Betty Ward, Funeral Associate

Betty began helping with services at Roberts Bruce West Chapel in March 2015. She lives in Citra and is a member of Living Waters Worship Center. She has three children, four grandsons, and three great-grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys yard work and bicycling.

Tony Jones, Care Center Staff

Tony enjoys that his work at Roberts, which began in June 2014, allows him to learn something new every day and help those in need. A Pittsburgh native, he now resides in Marion Oaks and also serves his community as a deacon. In his free time, he enjoys caring for his plants and fishing.

Michael Williams, Care Center Staff

Michael has worked at Roberts since April 2003. He moved to Beverly Hills with his late wife in 2002, and has been active in that community through Rotary and the Catholic Church. Born and raised in Detroit, he graduated from Wayne State University and became licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in 1979.
