Born in Llandaff, South Wales, Joyce came to America at 17 to marry and raise a family in New Jersey. She spent her retirement years between Manteo N.C and Ocala FL. She was a member of the Roanoke Island Baptist Church and dedicated much of her time to her church. She was a friendly and outgoing person who loved the Lord, loved people and loved life.Surviving are her four children: Judith Hall of Carson City N.V. Susan Kirschmann of Powells Point N.C. Kurt Jelinek of Manville N.J and Bruce Jelinek of Ocala FL, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
